Why they came to us
Property Queenstown knew they needed a new website. Beyond that, they were not sure what they wanted. They had not worked with websites properly before, so the process itself was unfamiliar: what to ask for, what good looks like, what happens in what order. That is a common position for a business owner to be in, and there is nothing wrong with it. But it does shape how a project needs to be run.
Guiding them through it
Because Property Queenstown were new to website development, the project moved more slowly than usual, and there was a gap in understanding about how the work actually happens. So we led. We guided them through the whole process, patiently, explaining each step as we went rather than expecting them to already know it.
The first practical job was getting the foundations right. We worked with their third-party designer to put proper brand guidelines in place before anything was built, so every decision after that had something solid to sit on.
We did the heavy lifting
From there, we took the project on ourselves. We wrote all of the copy on the website. We took the branding from their designer and applied it throughout. And we built the entire website, end to end.
We did this with only light guidance from Property Queenstown, and that was deliberate. They did not have hours to spend in review meetings or wrangling drafts, so we kept the demand on their time to a minimum and got on with the work.
Sometimes it pays to let us crack on
This project is a good example of something we see often: when a client is short on time or web experience, the best result comes from handing the work to us and trusting us to run with it. Property Queenstown did exactly that. They got a complete website, written, branded and built properly, for a fraction of the time they would otherwise have spent. If that sounds like your situation, it is a genuinely good way to work with us.
