We grew up with digital in Queenstown

Queenstown is where Fully Charged Media started, and we have never left it behind. We were the town's first dedicated Google Ads specialists, and for a lot of local businesses we have been the one constant while everything else changed. We have outlasted several of their marketing managers. For some, we are the sole marketing contact they trust with the lot. We have watched the same businesses move through multiple rebrands and changes of owner, and we were still there when the dust settled.

If you have been around Queenstown a while, so have we. We have been working here since the days of Kiwi Discovery and before "Queenstown Central" was a thing, right through to some of the newest names in town who bring us in precisely because they want local expertise involved in their launch.

That local knowledge is the difference. A big Auckland or Sydney agency might like the idea of a Queenstown client, but liking the idea is not the same as understanding the market. We know how business here actually works, and we want yours to last the distance, not run hot for six months and then get picked up cheap as it goes under.

In a talk we gave here years ago we made a point that has stuck: no one can tell the real size of your business until they arrive in town. Back when TripAdvisor ranked everything, around half of the twenty top-rated businesses had been open less than eighteen months. Position online is earned, and it can be lost just as quickly.

Hold your position, earn your market share

We are here for the new businesses finding their feet and the established names protecting a reputation they have spent years building. The goal is the same either way: hold your position, earn the market share you deserve, and not be the business that gets hammered by a poor digital strategy or a sloppy implementation.

We could have branched into design, print and the rest. We chose to stay purely digital and get very good at it. We would rather do one thing properly than dabble in all of it.

We have watched businesses come and go here, and plenty of marketers pass through with them. Over the years we have heard a graphic designer charging for Google Ads management call it "no work once it's set up", then admit in the same breath they "don't really understand Google Ads". We have heard video companies say they "just use templates" to get a website out the door. That is not us. We are here to make you money, not to hand you a feel-good social media content calendar and call it marketing. And while we travel from time to time, our team has always worked globally, and we still know this town better than most who never leave it.
